Your Tōtika cost depends on your category. Check the category guide before paying, especially if your work type or contract value is not straightforward.
SHE Pre-Qual's Tōtika Sole Trader assessment costs $280 + GST ($322.00 including GST) and lasts two years.
SHE Pre-Qual's Tōtika Category 1 assessment costs $450 + GST ($517.50 including GST) and lasts two years.
SHE Pre-Qual's Tōtika Category 2 assessment costs $949 + GST ($1,091.35 including GST) and lasts one year.
SHE Pre-Qual's Tōtika Category 3 assessment costs $1,459 + GST ($1,677.85 including GST) and lasts one year.
These lower-category SHE Pre-Qual Tōtika assessments are priced for a 2-year cycle. Use the category guide first if you are unsure whether you qualify.
Category 2 and Category 3 are annual pathways for larger businesses, higher contract values, high risk work or very high risk work.
The fee covers review of your SHE Pre-Qual Tōtika application by qualified health and safety assessors for your category, including clarification or further-information requests during review. Phone and email support is available during the registration and assessment process.

Sole Trader and Category 1 assessments are valid for 2 years, while Category 2 and Category 3 assessments are valid for 1 year, so compare pricing on a per-cycle basis. Plan ahead for renewing your Tōtika prequalification before it expires.

Prices are quoted excluding GST. The GST-inclusive column adds GST at 15%. Your category determines the assessment fee and renewal period.

Two-year cost view
Sole Trader and Category 1 assessments last two years. Category 2 and Category 3 assessments last one year, so the two-year view counts each renewal in that period. Figures assume current prices at renewal.

Sole Trader and Category 1 Tōtika prequalification assessments are valid for 2 years. Category 2 and Category 3 assessments are valid for 1 year. External certifications or assessments may follow their own expiry dates.
Prepare current health and safety policies, worker training information, risk controls, incident or corrective-action records, insurance details and examples that show your systems are used in practice.
