Applications are evaluated by qualified health and safety professionals against New Zealand's Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and ISO 45001 principles.
A clearer path for existing certificates
Operators with current CAA, Maritime NZ or AdventureMark certification can select their certificate during registration and complete a reduced question set where it applies.

Select the category that best represents your operation, including accommodation, activities, attractions, events, transport or other tourism services.
What to have ready
Prepare your NZBN, health and safety plan and evidence, public liability insurance, cancellation policy, and any relevant operating or Qualmark certificates.
How the assessment works
Register and pay in RapidCert, complete the questions for your business, upload evidence, and submit for evaluation. Your evaluator will contact you if more information is required.

The audit period is two years and all prices are GST exclusive. If you are registering an accommodation chain and are unsure which fee applies, contact SHE Pre-Qual before paying.
